Billing and Payment
Dental treatment is an excellent investment and it is important to be able to schedule treatment and care right away. So that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining the care you deserve, we offer several financial options.
As a service to our patients, our practice will process most all dental insurance programs with the exception of medicare and medicaid. We are not part of any managed care network. We will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits and submit them for you. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months.
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders and major credit and debit cards. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office.
For patients without dental insurance we do offer dental financing through CareCredit®
CareCredit® is a credit card exclusive for healthcare services. With CareCredit®, you can get a low interest payment plan if paid in full within 6, 12, 18 or 24 months on purchases with your CareCredit® card. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance, including optional charges, is not paid in full within 6, 12, 18 or 24 months or if you make a late payment. Minimum monthly payments required.
